Ambit felt it was time to put some sanity into the network discussion of Voice over IP technology.  It is increasingly apparent that the high end switch manufacturers are spreading a lot of fear and mis-information about what Voice over IP communications does to a network.  The purpose of this article is to point out some basic facts that are universal to all VoIP network architectures.
